the weakest link

      SATURDAY 2/22/2020 2:06AM--The FHB made their debut at Hershey's last night...I'd give us (maybe) a 7 on a scale of 10...Generally, the audience seemed to love us...my original plan to shoot video suddenly became a plan to make an audio recording...ultimately I did neither...somebody was shooting what seemed to be to be LOTS of video...I wonder where it will eventually go...
              I told Lou I was coming to Damascus for the acoustic open mic...now I don't see that happening...I hope he won't be disappointed...
8:30 AM--I think everybody made at least a couple of mistakes...There was even a false start or two...I don't think I made any major boo-boos...I would give myself (factoring in my vocals) an 8 outta 10...Butch, on the other hand, was plenty bad IMO...wrong chords, hesitant vocals...maybe it was the alcohol, or the likelihood that he sometimes couldn't hear himself over ME...whatever..
     Not really looking forward to the critique e-mail from Stoney or Barnaby...I guess we didn't seem to have our act together when it came to the time between songs...I reluctantly admit that...Barry showed up, that was a surprise..Angela did not; that wasn't a surprise...I believe Brian's wife took more than a little video, and both Sue and Arlene took photos...
  As for going out tonight, it ain't gonna happen, because of my condition and Dianne's desire that I not go out...
SUNDAY 2/23/2020 10:35 AM--today and tomorrow are (musically) days of rest and then on Tuesday it's back on the treadmill...
 Soon I'll start working on the 4th Thursday guest material, maybe starting tomorrow...I dunno who's doing what songs...that's guests and the FHB...
8:05 PM-well it took a day or two but the other members of the FHB have aired their grievances…nobody in the band is happy...Butch was fairly apologetic, but whether  any of us are going to change our ways remains to be seen…
Now I kind of regret answering the email...I’m sure there will be repercussions, I just don’t know when they’re going to show up in my mailbox…or who the e-mails will be from...
