getting slightly better at the tech stuff

            THURSDAY 2/27/2020 9:30 AM--I was able to buy IT'S TOO LATE, run it thru Audacity, change the key to Fminor it and send it into my iTunes Library--rather quickly...I believe Stoney is wrong about the chord before the guitar solo...let's see if he argues with me...
   11:09 AM--went to Butch's, got my phone back...experimenting with one of Butch's mic stands, this way, if it doesn't work, I haven't spent any money...
5:31 PM--went to Litz, DIDN'T buy a mic stand yet...bought a compact amp stand...and a Zoom H1n Digital Recorder...I don't think I'm gonna try it out tonight, but who knows? UPDATE--I don't think I can record anything w/o an SD card, so I might be going to Best Buy, or Staples or wherever...Patience...
10PM-the worst 4th Thursday *I* have ever been a part of...Just about Everyone who has taken the stage has sucked...some more than others, but still...and not just the guests...the new amp stand seems to be working fine though...I will check it out thoroughly sometime Friday morning or afternoon...
FRIDAY 2:33 AM--the open mic got more enjoyable as the night wore on...I did much better as a harmony singer than I did as a guitarist--until Andrew took the stage...he likes to play the blues...so we did...I did pretty dammed good at that point IMO...I was gonna record some of our set with my phone, but I'm glad we didn't...after I digest the sandwich I just had, I'll go to bed--well, take a long nap...
12:22 PM--so I got an SD card...what I DON'T yet know is: what's the software for and which one of my two choices is for a PC? I found out once; I shoulda made a Note of that...
12:39 PM--I'm trying to put the doo-hickey aside for an undetermined length of time...probably until tomorrow when Dianne goes out, for however long she'll be gone...I don't think ya need the software unless yer gonna do some major manipulation/editing...UPDATE--still have the impression that I don't need software to do what *I* wanna do...
