it should be obvious

              SATURDAY 2/1/2020 5:35 PM--at this point it may be obvious--I've been in the Combustibles mostly for whatever money I make gigging with them...this is also true of the ACME Band Company...Stu Judd & The Snowdawgz are generally more competent and therefore more fun...but I'm not sure that band still exists...or maybe Stu has replaced me with a Republican...
               I still can't grasp that whole "if the audience likes it, don't worry" concept...Not at all sure who's playing Bass tonight (Steven?) and as good as the drummer might be, *I* haven't heard it yet...I'll just grit my teeth and keep playing, right?
SUNDAY 2/2/2020 2:09 AM--just got home from Arlington...struggled a bit with the sound I was getting, but my playing was pretty good, some of the Time...the drummer was a bit louder on his own drums, but the tempos were (IMO) a tad slow on at least some of the stuff...I also wrestled with the ME 70 a bit...We got a request for some Pink Floyd and responded with ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL part 2...I very nearly nailed the solo, but Rick very nearly ruined the song by trying to add harmonies (!) for some reason...I brought up the question of would I stay if RICK was gone? I said I wouldn't, but now that I've had time to think about it--maybe I WOULD...
     I forgot my tablet (AARRRRGGGGHH!) but made it thru both THE BREAKUP SONG and YOU MAY BE RIGHT w/o it...I might have made it thru MOONDANCE had we gotten to that, but I don't think I would have been as lucky had we played COME TOGETHER...
           There wasn't all that much of a turnout, maybe because of the weather...I should see the $80 on Wednesday...I waited too long to eat the M&Ms--my energy level felt like it was at zero when we started the last set...
