getting better ?

    SUNDAY 2/16/2020 7:58 AM-I got in a teeny bit of practice this morning already… I need to start packing up and cleaning up around here before I go back to Gaithersburg... In addition to my suitcase and my bag of dirty clothes I have the guitar amp, the paisley bag and Butterscotch to worry about… That feels like a a lot to me...I DO wish it was a bit warmer outside, cold weather is not good for the equipment...
      7:38 PM--I think I wanna bring the amp inside, although there's hardly any place for it in the living room..I need to do a lotta LOTTA work in the basement...it sounds crazy, but I have the desire to start now...I won't of course, but if I can get my ass in gear in the morning, I'll get started... Of course, I DO need to save my energy for band practice…
MONDAY 2/17/2020 11:05 PM--band practice went well enough, kinda...got another one in about 14 hours, with Ken & Luisa--why? I dunno...maybe it will get cancelled...as far as *I* know we have no drummer and no bass player...
TUESDAY 2/18/2020 Reverbs practice may have gotten cancelled--*I* cancelled it...I told a half-truth...I told Ken that a plumber was coming later today...The Truth is he (they) came on Sunday...and yes, I feel guilty about lying to Ken...
10:02 AM--I put new strings on "eBay" this morning and I might do the same for Butterscotch after my (likely) nap...As I understand it, the FHB setlist has been revised...I haven't gotten the revised version yet...changing MY copy of the set list should be easy...
10:50 PM--to my surprise, I DON'T have a new set of strings for Butterscotch...so I'll take care of that one tomorrow, assuming my SSA check comes in overnight...I suppose I could go to Bank to get the money, but (hopefully) waiting one more day might not make a difference...
4:08 PM--Barnaby sent the guitar tracks from last night's practice performance of CROCODILE ROCK...with headphones, I'm on one side, Butch is on the other...Butch must have been somewhere else in his head, playing a different song entirely...it was the worst I've ever heard him play, and that's saying something...
9:12 PM--apparently, with regard to the ME-70, I can have a rotary sound OR two-part harmony, but I can't have both...kinda glad I didn't waste time finding that out the hard way...
Nobody in the FHB mentioned that the two tones weren't combined, like on the original recording of  BABY COME BACK...if they aren't upset about it, then I'll try not to be...but I still have some work to do on the ME-70...one of the "clean" patches (2-1) doesn't seem to be as loud as the other one (1-1) so I need to fix that...maybe I can just copy 1-1 and replace the current 2-1 patch...I guess that's all the "lab work" I'm gonna do...I think the harmony patch I use for BCB needs to be a teeny bit louder...
