     WEDNESDAY 2/5/2020 1:48 PM--gotta put the LCB Memory Lane trip on hold...gotta start thinking about that other letter group--the FHB...but first, it's nap time...
4:28 PM--I should get on with the dishes, then MAYBE I can go thru the paisley bag--pretty sure Steven the Bass Player has my brand new guitar cable...I'm not 100% sure it was an accident...another trip to Litz, while the cleaning ladies are here I guess...UPDATE--found the cable! and RICK'S tablet holder...
   5:05 PM--DON'T STOP is coming along...TWILIGHT TIME? meh...but there's always tomorrow, right?
10:46 PM--I hate admitting when I'm wrong, but I was wrong about the FHB learning BABY COME BACK...the miracle is that I found a way to play BOTH harmony parts to the guitar hook, using the ME-70...the miracle is that it took maybe five minutes to go from "how in the Hell is this gonna happen" to "hey! I think I've got it!"...my band mates didn't seem to be impressed...The harmonies to PANAMA RED took longer to come together than they should have IMO...I'm not 100% satisfied with 'em, but it's not my song to sing...
           Allegedly, they feel that if the audience is happy, that's what matters most...they can and do ignore what their ears tell them...I'm having a very hard time learning how to do that...but now I must focus on the ACME gig...I've only got two days to get ready...I think DON'T STOP will be ok, SHADOWS too...TWILIGHT TIME? rather iffy at this point...I dunno if the audience will notice any boo-boos, I'm not sure that Lee will notice any either--and SHE should...as for AT LAST, I think I'm gonna simplify it...again, the audience probably won't notice/care...Lee might, but I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't...
THURSDAY 2/6/2020 9:36 AM--ACME songs improving, I'm not worried...I'll practice more later...
5:02 PM--I keep forgetting that no matter how good my keyboard playing might be, that won't change the whole band...hopefully, I'll be able to devote more time to practice tomorrow...I don't think I have anything else going on...
5:52 PM--except to check my amp to make sure it still works...I hit one of the speed bumps near Butch's house pretty hard; it was dark and rainy and I didn't see it coming...talk about a lesson in patience...I won't know until after Dianne leaves for work Friday morning, at about eight o'clock...which feels like a LONG time to me...I think I have a Plan B should the worst case scenario play itself out...
        I really don't wanna buy a new amp if I don't have to, as exciting as the idea feels...the going rate for what I would buy is about $600...
