back into the time machine

     
           SUNDAY 2/9/2020 7:30 PM--I got a Reverbs song list from Ken...I don't like the Excel format, but that's what he used to construct it...Dianne helped me, cause I really didn't wanna copy 134 (!) songs by hand and then into Word or Google Docs...I think I know about 130 of them...I guess I'll go thru the list to see how many songs I DON'T know...I'm supposed to go to Ken & Luisa's on Tuesday at one o'clock...I wonder if they've found some more Musicians...Guitar and keys and a female vocalist does not a band make...
             I dunno what the FHB is doing this week...I anticipate practice on Wednesday, but I haven't heard anything yet...The Hershey's debut gig is almost two weeks away...Lou wants me to come to Damascus on Thursday...undecided about it at this point...
9:31PM-it still bothers me that I’m reading about all these great bands out there on FB and I’m not in any of them... I’m just hoping that the Full House Band will start gigging a little more often… But considering how busy some of the other members of the band are already I don’t see the FHB getting much busier than we are now...Two or three gigs per month? Probably never gonna happen...
2/10/2020 10 AM--The FHB is practicing on Thursday I think...so I won't be going to Damascus to sing with Lou...
7:13 PM--the Reverbs' practice has again been canceled...and I've again been invited to K&L's karaoke show...who knows? I might go...
8:05 PM-oddly enough I’m happier knowing practice has been cancelled...don’t know why exactly although it’s true that I’m usually rather tired or sleepy at that time of day but I’ve made it through the one rehearsal we have had...
10:10 PM--I KNEW it would happen...I just volunteered to stay with the Combustibles until possibly the 1st of May...because I'm not an asshole/scumbag/jerk...
TUESDAY 2/11/2020 9:03 AM--it seems likely that I'll be staying with the Combustibles after all...again, I have to try to remember that idea that "the audience decides" what's "good" and what's "bad"...and (the hard part) I have to ignore any deficiencies that *I* feel ANY of the Musicians I work with have...Barry has 'em, Rick REALLY has 'em...most of ACME has 'em...and yes *I* have one or two...impatience is both of them...
WEDNESDAY 2/12/2020 9:32AM--according to the recordings made at practice, the FHB sucks too...that's a shock...the weakest link being (IMO) Butch--maybe...
8:45PM-seemingly Barnaby looks to Stoney to solve any Musical questions-like “what are the chords to the chorus of crocodile rock?” I’m 98% sure *I* know what they are... I suspect tomorrow’s rehearsal is going to be very interesting, if it ends up happening…
