it works! in a way...

      THURSDAY 3/5/2020 10:36 AM--the recording set-up works! Except there is a problem with latency, meaning that overdubbed tracks won't be synchronized--without some additional knob twiddling...and the sound leaves something to be desired, but the mixer might be able to fix that...
   2:36 PM--as I predicted elsewhere, I NEED a nap...and I still dunno where I'm gonna go this evening...Maybe I shouldn't, but I might do the Grape Escape AND the OTWC...now I can't remember how or why, but my ears are ringing lots...
6:26 PM--If I'm gonna record any of the LCB reunion I need to do a dry run, and NOT with a bunch of acoustic solo artists...the Plan at this point is to go see Danger Bird on Saturday evening--hopefully for only a set or two...I don't wanna hear Neil Young songs all evening long...my second choice is to go see the Newports (ugh) on Friday night...
 8:15 PM—So here I am at the OTWC after all...it’s a long way to go to get dessert but basically that’s why I’m here... Don’t know when I’m gonna leave, probably somewhere around 10:30 or so… I just know that I HAD to get out of the house, if only for one evening…
