             SATURDAY 3/7/2020 6:18 PM--Thanx to (mostly) a youTube video, I've just about got the intro to JOSIE...it probably has to be ready by Wednesday...Frankly, I'M impressed...I'll work on it more later; first I'm going out tonight to determine which one records better, a hand-held digital recorder or an iPhone 8...I'm going to the OTWC...by the way, I'm almost flat broke...something came up that I wasn't expecting...The Best Buy Geek Squad took $150 for another year’s worth of coverage...
9:20 PM-listening to/watching a Neil Young Tribute Band...individually the guys in the band are technically too good to play Crazy Horse...
11:35 PM--the CHORDS to JOSIE? I doubt I'll have them by the 26th, unless someone actually teaches them to me...a video MIGHT help, but I think I'm gonna need more than two and a half weeks...I MIGHT have the chords by then, but it's gonna be more work than I've ever done as a guitarist...HOTEL CALIFORNIA was a piece of cake compared to JOSIE...
SUNDAY 3/8/2020 11:05AM--probably the only way I will be able to play JOSIE is by playing part (not all the notes) within some of the chords...for instance in this sequence, the notes to the RIGHT of the slash are Bass notes--on a keyboard that's the LEFT hand...A/D  G/C  D/G  C/F...I found a video that should help at least a little...If I work really REALLY hard on it, I might be OK by the 26th...I'm absolutely sure Butch will have to use the abbreviated method as well...which may mean it will be up to Barnaby to fill in the blanks...
4:21 PM--Stoney and I had Lunch...it went better than I thought it would, but--I need to dismantle my "recording" space and convert it to a practice space in order to focus on practicing the various (mostly) little things that I'm having trouble with...that means setting up the amp (temporarily)  and the ME-70...I think it's gonna be a tight squeeze...I think once I've got the sound I want, I might take the amp out of the equation...that might leave me with a bit more room and more importantly, nobody will have to hear me practice...I MIGHT move the equipment into place...that would be one less thing to do tomorrow...
