I hope somebody appreciates the effort

           MONDAY 3/9/2020 4:35 PM--the practice area is about as set-up as it's gonna be...now to get to work on the Music...I THINK the first of half of Tuesday is spoken for, and it's not even MY stuff...I THINK I have figured out a way to make JOSIE easy to play--leave the Bass notes to Stoney...for example the sequence A/D to G/C means that Stoney plays the D to C bit and somebody (me? Butch?) plays the A to G bit, utilizing the fewest amount of strings--*I* should be the one to do it, OR coach Butch on how I would do it...not looking forward to Wednesday...
11PM--I've had trouble picking a song to sing on the 4th Thursday open mic...I think maybe I might be possibly singing 867-5309 (Jenny)...
TUESDAY 3/10/2020 7:32 AM--as far as I know, I have rehearsal with the Reverbs...guess I'll just do it and get it over with...I really really REALLY need to at least have the intro to JOSIE ready by tomorrow evening...
11:52 AM--going to Ken & Luisa's after lunch...do we even have a drummer and/or bass player yet? I dunno...after which I'm stopping off at the OTWC to hopefully pay the tip for Sunday's lunch...I think it will take a miracle to make my parts of JOSIE ready by tomorrow evening...fortunately I've got about two weeks before the open mic...
4:05 PM--rehearsal with Ken & Luisa went well enough, now it's back to JOSIEland...I've GOT to work on it tomorrow...I got new strings for the acoustic; I should put them on tomorrow as well...For a couple of reasons, I'm probably NOT sitting in with Ray and Carolyn on the 13th...I need to save gas/money when I can and more importantly, what's the point? it's kinda like going to a music store to gawk at some guitar I'll never be able to afford...and the guitar doesn't know I want it...and I no longer know how to play it...
UPDATE--but I might go anyway (sigh)...and I can wait until Thursday to put the strings on--maybe...because Wednesday I'll be focusing on JOSIE...band practice starts at 7-ish...
